Learn what are Key Ministry Indicators (KMIs) for your local church and how to use them to help guide your ministries and leaders to success.
– Taught by Johnny Wong
“Measurement is the first step that leads to control and eventually to improvement. If you can’t measure something, you can’t understand it. If you can’t understand it, you can’t control it. If you can’t control it, you can’t improve it.” said Dr. James Harrington, who has been involved in quality and performance improvement projects since the 1950s. This is the final course in the leadership series based on the study of Nehemiah.
If you want to know what is important to an organization, study what they measure and track. For example, ‘the number of baptisms’ is important for many churches, but not – “how many members are trained to be ‘disciples’ to win souls”.
In this course you will:
- Review Nehemiah’s approach to identifying what was important enough for him to measure
- Learn what a Key Ministry Indicator (KMI) is and how to develop KMIs for your local church
- Learn how to use KMIs to help guide your ministries and leaders to success
- Complete a brief online assessment to reinforce key concepts learned in this leadership course series
