The church and Christianity are evolving – rapidly – in a century where commerce, communications, social interactions, and travel are connected globally in unprecedented ways. Many are asking if the church is still relevant today. How do we understand what long-term impact, if any, will the global pandemic have on the church? In this course, Dr. Chris Holland searches the Bible for answers to these and other questions related to the nature and structure of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (Adventist ecclesiology) in the 21st century. The companion course, Why do Evangelism (traditional or digital)? is recommended for you to grasp all of the critical concepts presented by Dr. Holland in these timely training sessions.

This is the second course in a four-course series, developed from virtual training sessions by Dr. Chris Holland and Dr. Mark Finley, sponsored by Newbold College of the United Kingdom, and attended by pastors and lay leaders from conferences in the Trans-European Division (TED) of Seventh-day Adventists.
