– Taught by Johnny Wong
A man heard his daughter and some of her friends arguing loudly in the back yard one day and went outside to reprimand her. “But Daddy,” she protested, “we were just playing church.” Data from the Duke University’s National Congregations Study 2006-2007 showed that every year more than 19,000 congregations in the USA experience major conflict. The result is that some pastors resign, or leave the ministry, board members quit, and people walk away hurt and wounded. Worst yet, Christians leave the church, some forever. In this course, Johnny Wong does an in-depth study of Nehemiah 5, gathering important lessons on how Nehemiah dealt with conflict from within and without.
